София | Sofia

Както сигурно вече се досещате след предишния пост си бях вкъщи. Пет дни в пролетна София. Зелена, оживена, празнуваща (месецът на баловете). Такава я усетих и ми стана още по-любима. Мнозина от вас ще се усмихнат, други ще се учудят на умилението ми, но родният град е друга магия, дори и да има много неща за оправяне, както често чувах в разговорите около мен. София се променя. София е различна. Разходете се. Има толкова много да се (пре)открие.

As you probably already guessed after the previous post I was back home. Five days of Sofia in the Spring. Green, busy, celebrating (the month of the proms). At least I felt it that way and now I love the city even more. Many of you will probably smirk, others will be surprised by my sentiment. Even though many things need fixing, as I often heard in the conversations around me, the hometown is a different kind of magic. Sofia is changing. Sofia is different. Just walk around. There is so much to (re)discover.

Купа с череши | A bowl of cherries

Вкъщи винаги е най-хубаво. Уютно, познато, твое си. Лично. Всяка дреболия ти е мила, скъпа и като си тръгваш ти се струва, че не можеш да живееш без нея. Но куфарът е твърде малък да побере всичките спомени, всичките копнежи. Скоро пак. Вкъщи. Където разговорите около една купа с череши събират цялата вселена.

It is always good to be home. It is cosy, familiar. It is just your place. It is very personal. Every little thing is dear and means a lot and when it is time to leave, you think you will not be able to live without it. But the suitcase is just to small to hold all the memories, all the longings. Soon. Again. At home. Where the talks around a bowl of cherries gather the whole universe.

Въображение | Imagination

В неделя бяхме в Братислава за няколко часа. Естествено купихме си цяла торта Марленка и докато вече си представях как се топи в устата, в движение видях коледната украса на Intimissimi и останах много приятно изненадана.

On Sunday we were in Bratislava for a few hours. Naturally we bought one Marlenka cake and while I was imagining how it melts in my mouth, I saw the Intimissimi’s Christmas decoration and I was pleasantly surprised.




Нямаше и следа от обичайните коледни дръвчета, дървени играчки и прочие. Стилно в бяло. Като се огледах, забелязах, че почти всички магазини в Aupark бяха интерсно и различно украсени.

There was no sign of the usual Christmas trees, wooden toys and so on. Stylish in white. As I looked around, I noticed that almost all of the shops in Aupark were interestingly and uniquely decorated.
